CCP runs within Windows. On a Mac, you have to run a virtual windows machine.
Have you contacted P1Repair.com to see if they have any Keypad repair membranes for the MX-500? I know he has them for the 700, 800 & 850 which are similar though not exact enough I don't think. There aren't listed on the website but might not hurt to contact them to see.
If you only have a few buttons that don't work he has single button repair membranes too.
