The only problem with cloning the mx-500 to a mx-600 is the power buttons are switched. So your discrete ON commands would be on the OFF button on the mx-600.
I did away with all my universal remotes, just use Roku tv with soundbar connected, the only remote I need is the roku tv remote. :)
