Most of the Samsung models that I use have an RS-232 port, there is a free USB dongle available from distributors that will allow RS-232 control for models that do not have the port. I'm not sure if the really cheap big box store models support this or if the dongle is available through that sales channel. Setup for using the dongle may not be straight forward.
