I've currently got a Directv remote RC64R. I programmed it maybe 8 months ago. I've got a Yamaha RX-V773 (also a Panasonic PVT60). When I switch to AV1, I can power on my RX-V773. When I hit the DTV&TV off button, everything successfully turns off (DVR, TV, and receiver). Awesome!

The trim on the remote is starting bubble off, so I purchased a new remote labeled RC66X. I'm trying to program it to work exactly as my current remote. I've been thru every remote code suggested on my DVR remote settings, and I cannot replicate the functionality. Half of the codes can control the volume and turn the receiver off. But I can't find any codes that will turn it on.

Any suggestions on how to proceed?

What I definitely do NOT want to do is mess up my perfectly functioning current remote.
