I too have the Eaglestar Pro 6165AV. I am very impressed with what I'm getting from it (Stoney Creek, ON below the escarpment). I am getting a number of Buffalo channels (WNLO, WGRZ, ABC to name a few). I also have an RCA antenna which looks like the 4' wing of those Styrofoam planes we used to throw as kids connected to another TV. It can pull in CTV (9-1), but my Eaglestar cannot? Any thoughts/suggestions? Also, the Eaglestar has a 40db gain...if I used a different pre-amp, could I get more gain? I no ZERO about RF.

Just in case you're wondering, you can split with the Eaglestar. I bought a 2.4g splitter and am now running two TVs off the Eaglestar with the same channels and same quality.
