I think Tropo conditions were very good over the weekend, especially last night. I didn't do any additional channel searches, but CHCH was coming in on my CM 4228 (old model) from here in Buffalo, which in of itself isn't mindblowing, but it was doing so while I had my antenna pointed straight north at Toronto. I almost always have to turn the antenna towards Hamilton to receive it. Receiving a VHF channel like CHCH with a 4228 from that kind of angle usually means that conditions are abnormally optimal. That kind of reception won't last, especially with rain in the forecast this week.
