Clearly I wasn't using best practices, but I did check this. My base station is on not on zero, but i have all ports firing. Because i was concerned about flooding the lumagen I even tried putting an obscenely long delay between the on code for the lumagen and that didn't correct the problem. I'll redo tonight as has been suggested.
