There are no Discretes supplied by WD, but there is a way you can create your own Discrete ON/OFF codes.

It can be done but there is a lot of messing about & trial & error in making it happen, but it is possible.
The 1st thing you have to do is install the
wdlxtv Homebrew Firmware.

But be warned there is always the possibility to, as they say "
BRICK" your media player (render it useless).
