Many thanks, 3FG. 165 does not seem to work as the power function on my VHT215. The remote seems to be blinking as it should, so I believe that I'm doing the process right. I'll start trying a brute force entry of all the codes. At the same time, I'll try an internet search to see if I can find the codes that work for the VHT215. Do you have any suggestions for what I could search for? I'm not really sure what the above codes are called? I think that you referred to them as EFCs, but what does this stand for?
