Why is it better? because you can "flip" one half so that it's pointing in the opposite direction; allowing you--from the Niagara area to catch Buffalo with one half and TO and Hamilton with the other.

I'm getting 26 channels with it on a 30 foot tower and a drop amp.

I do like the fact of the Digiwave that lets you fold the sides but I think the 2nd and more newer version of the CM4228 (the one with the HD at the end) lets you fold the edges to get either more distance gain or a bigger range.
