Guys I just bought a new Samsung 3D TV, A/V receiver, and blue ray player and got DirecTV to replace my old setup. My old setup was a non 3D plasma TV, cable programming, etc.

I controlled my old setup with a Sony universal remote (RM-AV3100). Now I'm trying to use the RM-AV3100 with my new setup.

I had to get the RM-AV3100 to "learn" the DirecTV remote buttons as I didn't have the code for the DirecTV HD DVR (HR24NC-500). Everything works great except when I use the up and down buttons on the RM-AV3100 to control the HR24NC-500.

When I go to the HR24NC-500 menu and press up or down it keeps scrolling as if I have pressed the up or down button on the remote 4 or 5 times.

What am I doing wrong? How can I fix this issue? I really dont want to go buy a new remote just because of this.
