I agree wil DrSat. WPXJ is nearly impossible to get. It is for me in St. Catharines, and I've got a 13 foot (boom) antenna 35 feet in the air. In fact, I'd consider channel 51 not watchable here. When I do get it, I'm turning my antenna almost due east for the 'most bars' on the signal meter
I am using a CATV drop amplifier with my antenna and they are great. I've used the Permacolor amp/preamp--similar to the 7777 and have had good results with that too.
I never install an antenna without an amp.
If you're up on the escarpment, you might have better chances at getting WPXJ.
BTW: Is anyone keeping track of WNYO's request to change their 'directional' signal to a more reliable one?
