| Review: | I saw this in BestBuy for $20, and immeadiately picked it up. I figured, hey, it's a Sony, and most of my equipment is Sony, so I shouldn't have too much of a problem.
When I got it home, I found that was not entirely the case. Worked out of the box with my TV (two year old WEGA), but does not seem to support my Sony HT receiver at all. Dunno if that means that the receiver is AV1 or AV2, and don't really want to spend the time researching it.
For the price, it's a good remote, but as the main review says " what they can’t do, they can’t do". It's a handsome remote, and pretty well matches the latest silver trim which Sony devices are sporting. But that shouldn't be the sole high point.
I'll end up returning it. |
