Weaknesses: Incompatibility and Sony support (phone & internet) Review: I've successfully used Sony's RM-2000 and RM-3000 for years and am not unfamiliar with programming remotes. I purchased the RM-V302 to control 3 components in an exercise facility (Sony TV, Sony AV-Amp, and Go-Video DVD-VCR combo player/tuner) I was able to program all but the DVD function of the Go Video DVD player (VCR & tuner functions worked fine from the Sony remote. I first tried at least 100 code combinations to no avail. I called Sony's toll-free "remote code" phone line and was eventually informed they did not support codes from this mfg. I went on iq.sony.com to make an email inquiry with no satisfactory response. Quality: Features: Value:

They must have shipped a lemon, because the [set] button doesn't work, so it has none of the programmability I needed. Instructions said "works out of the box with all Sony products". My VCR, DVD, and reciever are all Sony. TV is Mitsu. Got everything to work except the reciever, the most critical of all.
