Working Girl
(2 votes)
Location:1, 1
Features:3-D Effect
Description:The opening credits as the film goes over Manhattan. The visual provides an almost floating 3-D effect, especially on a Plasma screen. This is due in part to how it was filmed, but DVD and Plasma really bring it home.

X-Men
(4 votes)
Location:C14 The Brotherhood attacks
Features:Massive bass
Description:The scene where Magneto rips apart the train and halts Wolverine is filled with incredibly deep bass. The scene where Wolverine wakes up and explores the X-Men compound is also pretty cool as Professor X's voice comes from all different speakers.

X2: X-Men Untied
(2 votes)
Location:Xavier School Invasion
Features:DTS 5.1
Description:Wolverine's claws swish through the speakers all around you. There's guns, screams, and explosions, what more can you ask for?

Yellow Submarine
(5 votes)
Location:Any song track
Features:Good test of speakers
Description:This DVD sounds great on any of the new mixes. I particularly like "Yellow Submarine" (Chp 4) for showing off surround effects and "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" (Chp 26) works the bass.
