This is the DVD I always use when showing my system. It's an old DVD ,but still my favorite.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day (Ultimate version) (4 votes) - Rate This Scene - Voting Breakdown Location: Opening Credits, Chapters 1-3 Features: best video, sound to date Description: In comparison to Pro Logic Surround (*laff*), or even DD 5.1, the DTS/ES mix on this disc is unbelievable. I was too young to see this movie in the theater when it came out, so i was relegated to renting it on VHS and watching it on a 20" tv with a mono speaker. I did not believe how well it comes to life with even a "mid-fi" THX system (Rotel pre/amps through Paradigm Reference speakers). T2: Ultimate is currently the "best" dvd out there to date (12/6/2000) in terms of transfer quality and features. If you don't own it, you should. If you have the first release of T2, buy this one and sell the old one (or give it away for Christmas :)

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (8 votes) - Rate This Scene - Voting Breakdown Location: throughout the movie Features: Great channel separation and effective panning effects Description: When something explodes on screen, it starts out in the front speakers, and you can actually hear it noticeably emanate towards the back of the room. Debris lands behind you, and you can literally hear it skittering off to the sides. The panning effect is particularly noticeable and effective at the climax of the crane chase sequence.

The Bourne Supremacy (2 votes) - Rate This Scene - Voting Breakdown Location: Ch 12 Features: Great surround effects in traffic, great sound track! Description: This is the Paris chase scene. The part going down the alley, with the motorcycles whizzing by, along the Seine, with traffic skidding all around, horns blaring, cars crashing, and then finally, the glass of the phone booth exploding, with shards tinkling all around you, puts you in the passenger seat of the Mini for one of the best chase scenes in modern filmography! Throw in Paul Oakenfold's "Ready, Steady, Go!" and you've left your seatbelt off! "You can never come back to this car, understand?"
