Hi, I just bought some speakers from some guys in a black
Durango. I only paid $200 for both left and right speakers.
I am not complaining very much because i think they sound
alright for my T.V system.

OK... I think I can work this out...let me piece it together....

You paid only $200...right?
Now they were driving a black durango....

The part that really makes the math tough, is the "smart enough" algorithm.

...................give me a second.......................

Got it!!!!!!

$200.00

That of course doesn't factor in weather conditions, the colour of their eyes, also if you actually saw the info on his license, or he read it off to you....LMAO

I'm sorry.....couldn't resist.
Rest assured my friend. The speakers you currently own, are not worth $200

Another pair of awful loudspeakers. They suffer quite noticeable crossover distortion; there always appears to be an echo of the right coming out of the left.

My buddy bought these speakers and they were called "Kirsch Audio Home Theatre".

Well when he told me about it I told him it was a scam and proceeded to google the name, and sure enough, this site popped up first.

PO he was. So I went with him back to the shopping center with a bb hand gun, a small katana sword, and a lead pipe. We did not find them, however, the next day we happened to spot them and we were armed with the same shiat.

My buddy put the bb gun in his pants and talked to one of the guys. That guy seemed to be reluctant to give my friend his money back. Finally, in a frustrated tone, my buddy says "Look bro, I don't wanna any problems" as he lifts up his shirt to reveal the black pistol.

Things changed.

He was then not so reluctant to give my friend back his money. He got his money back and everyone was happy. Well, at least we were.

The best part was when the dude told his assistant, "He wants his money back. He has a gun." in a serious but humiliated fasion.

ar0nious,

Congrats...!

About a week ago I stumbled across this thread, and thought, "How can so many people fall for such an obvious scam??? These people must either be very naive and have a child like opinion of the honesty of others,...... or be down right stupid."

Well, you've changed my mind on the subject. Given your example of what people can actually think are good ideas, the unfortuniate posters on this thread are in fact just naive.

To anyone reading this thread: Take the post written by ar0nious as an example of what not to do. Accept that you have fallen for a scam. Consider it a lesson in life. $200 is not worth possibly dying for. No matter how burised your ego is.

No. You're completely wrong. It was the most wonderful thing I have ever been a part of.

One guy was in a leg cast, and the other was a sloppy unhealthy schmoe. I could have taken them both on by myself. I'm not stupid enough to not asses this kind of situation before going into it. There was no way they were going to hurt us, whether or not we had a gun. A bb gun at that.

Sure it may have been dangerous, but the point is this; They got scammed just as they have been scamming others. Perhaps we helped the world out by scaring two scam artists out of their money. There are many points of view on this one I guess....

ar0nious,

This thread is not here to debate your wisdom, or lack there of. I only gave a response to your post in hopes others wouldn't follow your lead. I will prove my "point of view" by quoting your 2 posts.

First:

"...My buddy put the bb gun in his pants and talked to one of the guys. That guy seemed to be reluctant to give my friend his money back. Finally, in a frustrated tone, my buddy says "Look bro, I don't wanna any problems" as he lifts up his shirt to reveal the black pistol..."

Second:

"...One guy was in a leg cast, and the other was a sloppy unhealthy schmoe. I could have taken them both on by myself. I'm not stupid enough to not asses this kind of situation before going into it. There was no way they were going to hurt us..."

Alright, during your "assessment" were you able to see through their clothing? What makes you think that they could not possibly have something concealed....just like your friend did??? I can see why you felt no apprehension in confronting them. I mean really, how often do people get shot over petty desputes? Especially when dealing with criminals, two, three a year?

I hope I'm making my point. You got away with one, and I'm sure it felt great. However promoting this course of action really isn't in everyones best interest. Someone else may try this and not have such a positive outcome.

If the cops were to have been involved with your incident, guess whom who have went to jail. The stupid ones.

I'll let those with an ounce of common sense determine whow that might be...

Well, yeah. You do have a point, and you're not completely wrong, for I was just being a thread asshole.

But, you're right. Maybe I should have put a "DONT TRY THIS AT HOME" warning on my post. I don't recommend doing this kind of thing, in fact, I'll admit that it wasn't the smartest move I've made in my life. It was fun, though.

Ill tell you this, though. I'm positive those guys were harmless. I say this because I nearly ended up like those guys. I once nearly fell for a scam similar to that, except I would be the one selling the shiat; cheap cologne. However after googling the company and stuff, I realized it was shady. My point is, those two guys were probably under the impression that they were doing legitimate business because that phony cologne scam company fools their "employees" to thinking thats what is going on. You can google Scentura Creations a company that was founded by a man named "Larry Hahn". Read up on it, it's interesting...

That was the first part of my assessment, the other is that being a martial artist, I am trained to unarm people with guns and basically take control and or destroy anyone who tries to attack me. And, no I'm not talking about 'karate'. However, in any fight, anything can go wrong, and I was aware of that the whole time.

So yeah, it was risky. No doubt. But to the rest of the people out there on this forum: "VENGEANCE IS OURS!"

And to roddymcg:

It's obvious who the cops would have taken to jail! THEM! For when you have a lead pipe, a katana, and a gun that looks real, you ARE the better business bureau.

Dont try this at home kids!

Thanks for proving my point, running around with a BB gun. What, are you a teenager. Then to brag about it.

Dont' buy stuff off people in parking lots, that is just plain stupid. Then to compound the situation by your child like actions and to be proud of this takes the cake. Nobody made anybody make that first deal, only stupidity had to prevail.

Oh in some ways I do so love the US; try a stunt like that over here though and it would almost certainly have been you on the way to chokey.

Joking apart, however, I think one of the points trying to be raised is just how did you know you were "tooled up" better than they were?

Hmmm.

Could have gone to jail. Could have gotten shot. Could have gotten hurt\died\other...

But what actually happened is what happened, and it was none of the above(except for what I said happened).

Would it have been less childish to have a real gun? Then what?

I am done with this thread.

But your stupidity will always follow you, therefore someone near you will always have some entertaiment. If we are lucky you will keep posting your stupidity to make us feel smarter than we really are.

Like I posted earlier, " never under estaimate the power of stupid".
