Finally got to meet some of these fools. They even told us that this sh$t was better than Blose. It was actually pretty funny. 30 years of experience between my partner and I and we had never even heard of the magazines, go figure.

For those of you who tried to go with the scam, you got what you deserved...

NO WAY!!!! This just happen to me just about 30 min. Ago In Rancho Cucamonga, CA. 7-6-06. I was on my way to lunch when these two guy in a Gold Winstar Van. Asked me if I was enterstead of buying a home theater system. So I checked it out. The on short white guy about 5'8. Blond, scruffy and kinda built. asked for $500. The other guy probably around 6'ft brown hair, kinda thick. He showed me the Magazine. Selling Price was $2500.00. The I asked why was he selling them. He gave me the story of That the asked only for one set, to install. But Instead they gave him 3 extra in the shipment. So now he cant take them back cause, they would have to drive all they way back to Malibu. I wasnt going to buy them. until the guy finlay said just give me $200.00 and well call it good. SO Anyways sounded like a good deal so I bought it for $200.00 no joke, I had a weird feeling about it. from something being $2500.00 to $200.00.

So anyways I came back to work. Jumped on the internet. Seached the Kirsh product line....didnt find anything. Until I started reading this. and then I realized I have been had, buy the same guys most of you guys discribe....well the good thing is I got if for $200.00 instead of $500.00....who's the sucker now.....I guess?

Ummm...you are. They have your $200 and you have a speaker system worth about $100 on a good day. Being scammed for a smaller amount than the one initially quoted only makes you SLIGHTLY less of a sucker, but your still a sucker.

I believe there was an old song that alluded to a "Ship of Fools". That's what this thread (maybe the most active thread in the history of RemoteCentral.com?) reminds me of.

When you think about the fact that these poor people's parents completely missed teaching them some of the very basic lessons of life ("too good to be true" for instance), it's really kind of sad.

I actually hated the theater logix speakers, 2450's until i moved into my new place with tile floors, the finished basement of my house. And these speakers never sounded better! I've heard Onkyo systems, to good Pioneer/Yamaha setups, and these actually sound pretty darn good. I too paid $200 for them, but have seen them sell for more than that on the bay. I've just been curious as to the real value of the complete home theater setup for this line.

Does anyone else besides me think that this is just the same person posting over and over with new story lines? I mean they start off saying their dumb for falling for the scam, and then end the story saying that the speakers aren't really that bad a quality/sound. I'm starting to think that they're advertising. :)
