Wow. I feel for you man. I've had no problems with the website retaining my settings at all. and I think I have like 3 accounts on there from when I ran into the 'downloading to the remote' issue back in the beginning. But since I figured that out, Ive just been using one of the accounts & It's been fine ever since.

So I wonder if one can 'transfer' their working account to someone else... or would it just turn around and change servers based on the new users location? hmm...

From everything ive read here, I'd hate to have to call tech support. They still havent responded to my original email so its a good thing I figured out the problem on my own lol. Knock on wood, hopefully I won't need them in the future!

Well, it seems my 'solution' by using correct label names for new infrared commands wasn't a solution after all, because I still ran into the same problem a couple of times - some settings changing back to defaults and the "Unable to display conent error".

However, I checked my profile today, and all the custom settings appear to be in the same state I left them a few days ago, and so far I haven't encountered the error message. So maybe Harmony fixed the bug at their end. I can only hope for the best. ;)

After spending a frustraighting week trying to make the Custom Buttons on my 880 remote 'stick' on their site (and upload to the remote), I finally got to someone at Level 2 support who admitted they have a known software bug that is causing the customizations to be 'lost' as soon as you click DONE.

This is also at the root of the 'unable to display content' errors.

The fix is at least a month away !!!! And in reading thru other fourms I've found that they seem to have had significant usability problems in the past few releases of this software.

Personally, seems to me they are being your typical greedy major corporation, continuing to pump out product that is not usable to the customer and I do not trust their word that the issue will be corrected anytime soon.

My 880 is going back to the store tonight & I am beginning the search for a customizable remote once again !

The scary thing is this, they say the problem is as soon as you click "Done", well in my case this is not true since everything is good till whatever they do overnight comes along and messes it up.
If it's the "Unable to Display Content" error then that may very well be the case.

I haven't had time last week to reprogram since I made a mistake of a single entry (CD should have been DVD) and I know it's about an hour of data entry to get it back. This of course assumes there are no typo's either.
Think I'll wait a month till they fix it.
