Yes, the mod is language depended and works olny with english. It's because it searches for special strings on HTML-page. I forget to say this in first post :)

Looks like a great idea. The arrows show up in the Firefox mode, but on my home page I am missing several of my activities. This is one of the reasons I have been using the IE mode.
Any ideas for a work-around?

The extension is now listed on Mozilla.org - [Link: addons.mozilla.org].
There are no changes since the first post in this thread.
Download-link in the first post was updated to the new address.

Thanks, but I can still only see some of my activities in Firefox. Everything shows in IE & the IE plugin for FF.
Any ideas?

@jmacknmo: Looks like a problem with rendering in Firefox.
Is the bug reproduceable in Logitech-software (which is also mozilla-based)?
In Firefox without Harmony Mod?

If you mean the latest stand-alone one, no, they all appear.
In Firefox without Harmony Mod?

I think this problem appeared before I knew about the mod.
Maybe it's time to re-install firefox from scratch??? I am getting other weird things happening like layout problems. Sometimes a button will overlap text; that sort of thing. (Virus checked regularly.) I put them down to site incompatibilities.

Thanks

Any chance of an updated release for Firefox 2.0 RC2? Right now it's one of the few extensions I have that won't work with the new release.

Right now it's one of the few extensions I have that
won't work with the new release.

The extension is updated, uploaded to mozilla.org and now waits for approval. This can take a few weeks.

Currently it can be downloaded from rapidshare.de - link (scroll to the end of page and click on button "free").

Awesome! Thanks so much.

I've tried the extension with Firefox 2.0. My experience indicates it works when accessing a single user account, but not when access accounts via the dealer login. Following is what happened when attempting to access via dealer login. It appears this week (or last) Logitech has changed the dealer logins so they now work in a client/server mode. When I access the dealer site via firefox and try to access one of the dealer customer accounts, firefox dowloads a "harmony.hol" file to be opened with "Remote.Central.10" by default. Hint - I had to uninstall and reinstall the Harmony V7 to get firefox to associate .hol with Remote.Central.10 - it was originally associated with Outlook holidays. When the .hol file opens, it launches the V7 client on the pc. Someone mentioned in another post that the dealer login might be "not working" until Oct 31. Perhaps this will remedy itself then.

Thanks for the mod, I agree it is certainly a timesaver.

Hi jcbremotes,

the mod just changes pages, that were loaded in browser. To make this, it have to detect what kind of config-page it is. The mod uses url and various texts on the page (title, captions, etc.).
I suppose, the pages of the dealer-area have other urls and/or texts.
If you could sent me saved pages with exactly urls (or just your dealer-login :), I could adjust the mod. (my e-mail is stored in profile)

Best Regards,
hugbug.

The problem is, after rearranging the custom buttons in
the desired order, they revert back to the default order
when the data is downloaded to the H800. They also revert
back to the default order next time the "customize buttons"
screen is open.

By default I mean that custom buttons attached to the
first device ( i.e. the first column) appear first, and
then buttons attached to the second device appear next,
and so on.

Rick Leb,
unfortunately the configuration web server rearranges
items in a such way. So you can change order only for
items within each device.
This cannot be workarounded without modifying server software
:(

Sorry to steal this thread for a sec but there is a Work-around hugbug and Rick.

My HTPC has it's commands grouped first but I wanted Amp commands amongst them so here's what I did.
I selected Learn Missing Commands in my "Watch HTPC" activity, I then chose the HTPC device BUT taught it using the desired buttons on my Amp remote.
When I went back to the Change Button Behaviour screen my Amp commands now appeared in the HTPC list to place in order as I pleased. Worked a treat.
This trick can also be used to reorder the Device page which isn't normally possible. :)

That also works for getting commands into the Sound and Picture buttons - learn the commands under the display and volume devices.

Hugbug,

Once logged in to the dealer account and the user account is selected, the activity/device screens are the same. The other thread mentioned some programming work on the dealer module that is due to be completed Oct 31. I think I'll keep checking the mod 'till then. I believe any changes you make prior to the stable version of the dealer mod might be a waste of time. I'll keep you posted and thanks for the response and help.

Hi,

the version 1.1 (compatible with Firefox 2.0) is now listed on mozilla's web site and can be downloaded/installed from it (link).

Best Regards,
hugbug.
