One more thing - I updated the firmware on the remote and attempted to reconnect w/the Extender again. The Harmony software said it was successful and I paired the remote w/the extender but still nothing. Thanks.

Since you removed the extender then re-added, make sure your devices are set to be controlled with the extender again. Under devices, click 'control devices with' and the select the extender.

Thanks for the reply. The devices are set to be controlled by RF. Does anyone know how to get the RF Extender to get into safe mode? Mine refuses to go into safe mode so I cant follow any of the instructions in this post.

Thanks. I've followed all of the directions on the Logitech site to but my remote into safe mode but it refuses to do so. I press and hold the connect button but the RF light does not start blinking.
