Djy, old chap. From there because it was the cheapest
& they offered immediate shipping. Sorry, don’t
know about any rf-ir doohickey.

I say, old boy, looks like you're right.

At the time I bought mine Minshull Oak, at roughly £114.00,was the best I do. (That's was about 18 months ago).

Seems like times have changed. Now that MO's price has rocketed(?) to £134.99, it would appear Bloo, bloopy doo's $112.95 (even when then taking into consideration shipping and duty) is pretty hard to beat.

As for all the flames, fear not old fella me lad. Eeper got a lot worse when he first started. Now look at him . . . just the odd insult or three. (Mind you, that's probably because he winds 'em up so much).

Hey, ho. Anything to lighten a rather dull day.

Anthony. Sorry, didn't mean to pry. It's just that I used to do a lot of work for Alcan in the UK some years ago. Brought back some good memories, nice company to do business with. If I remember correctly, they were the only company I ever visited that used a Cray Supercomputer for their modelling.

star! How did you get my picture? I wasn't feeling my best on that day. Mind you the bloke on the left is a little scarey too don't you think?

djy. Yes, bit of a shame about the cost difference. Don't know why it's higher now, I didn't realise they had sold cheaper before. There is another supplier in the UK offering them cheaper than Minshulloak, I feel like a bit of a bufoon for not getting in touch with them now, but such is life. Thanks for the support old bean, top hole, really.

Just curios why you were asking. What locations did you visit?

So did you ever get the remote?

I visited their head office in Banbury, Oxfordshire many times. My company used to supply and support their PC systems. I think I installed my first RAID server we ever sold there. I seem to remember holding my breath whilst testing it in front of the IT team. Wow, that must be around 1993/5? Doesn't time fly!
I don't suppose you know any of the people there around that time? I am terrible with names, I think the IT Manager was Keith or Kevin, don't recall his last name.
