He's madder than a hatter and an idiot, but thank God
he's "decisive". As far as spin goes, it's truly amazing
how to this day people like to say "he can make decisions
without looking at a poll". In spite of the fact that
the white house has done 180's numerous times based on
their constant monitoring of public opinion.
He's a decider alright. He decided 3000 American lives
away in Iraq (YES, along with a bunch of gutless Republican's
and Democrats that went along with him for fear of being
called unpatriotic and YES, they ARE equally to blame). Well, aren't you the self righteous one. Easy to criticize isn't it? What would you have done? Oh, of course, you KNEW Saddam didn't have any nuclear weapons, right? Everybody knew that, right? Yet curiously nobody said anything. Who did you want for president? Kerry? And what genius thing would he have done? Sorry, Q, you simply don't know what you're talking about.

I bet if I told you I couldn't stand Clinton either instead of calling me saelf righteous you'd be giving me hugs.
As far as what would I have done? Not gone to war and lost the lives of 3000+ American's for no good reason. I have NO problem with going to war when it's called for (Afghanistan is a good example) and am not some weak kneed "we just need to talk to solve all of our problems" delusionist. I do however have this wild idea that we shouldn't invent reasons to go to war just because we want to topple someone. And YES, we damn well DID invent, exaggerate and LIE to start this war. There was 0 interest in the truth. They decided to interpret the evidence to suit there desires, plain and simple.
BTW, there are a LOT of conservatives who oppose/d this war. It's NOT necessarily a left versus right issue.

Saddam did have a hit on the elder Bush, a son wanting a little revenge might have something to do with things.
Maybe the elder Bush was not so crazy for pulling back when he did. Maybe he foresaw what we are seeing today.
