Wasn't it Reagan, Rumsfield, Cheney, elder Bush, and the gang the ones who helped Saddam strengthen his power in the middle east.

Reminds me of a Bill Hicks bit from right after the first war...

"Iraq has incredible weapons... How do we know?? We looked at the receipt!!"

"The bank opens at 8... We cash the last check and then we attack at 9!!"

Another tidbit that 80s era GOPs (most of whom were with GWB during the first term) like to forget is that they funneled a LOT of money and weapons to Bin Laden and the muslim freedom fighters who traveled to Afghanistan to oppose the invading forces of the USSR.

They also quietly allowed oppressive, terrorist-harboring, drug kingpins (the Taliban regime) to come to power and stay in power because they allowed the US oil companies (namely Unocal, who have interests around the Caspian Sea) to install a pipeline to funnel oil and gas from Central Asia across Afghanistan to the Persian Sea in Pakistan.

Cheney himself brokered a part of that arrangement while he was with Halliburton.

I've hear this too, though I disagree about the majority of the Regan bashing you've posted. What other president can tout 18% returns? Like it or not, Reganomics worked.

how about we stick to the topic. global warming.

Regan, in my opinion the 2nd best president in the history of the USA.

History will show that GW is/was a good president. While i think he is a pussy. imagine if the press loved him like they loved that rapist bill clinton.

Carter the worst followed by clinton then nixon in my opinion.

uh-oh some one just put gas on the fire! :)

Carter was no good. There were some other ones that were bad as well.

Being President would be cool/suck at the same time. No matter WHAT you do, some one is going to be pissed and say you should have done that.

Honest Question for you all:

Do you think that the President of the US should have served in the military at one time, before he leads the military? Just wondering. I personally do, just wondering what you all thought.

And do you know why?

He started his presidency with one of the biggest deficeits in history.

If you had to go home to Hillary, you tell me you would not have been looking for action on the side??

Clinton passed educatioon bills that gave me the opportunity to go to college, so I might be a bit biased. I tried when the older Bush was in charge, but I could not get work to pay for school and I could not quailfy for any loans.

Is it getting warm yet?? lol
