Generating RC5 long form with MakeHex is easy and discussed in many threads. You use the rc5.irp file and just edit in the correct device number.

The DLO signals are similar to NEC1 protocol, but not similar enough to just edit the device number in nec1.irp. I forget where the threads were where I explained how to edit more in NEC1.irp to make those signals.

I got a freind who has a Pronto to help me... We loaded the .ccf into the remote with hopes of "learning" them into "usefull" software.

RTI Theater touch only reads a code from the Fast forward, rewind.

Crestron had the same.

I did not bring the actual dock with me to verify that the dock / pod actually responded, but I assume this is how "bluefin" is actually using the unit.

So this was a dead end.

Are we at a total dead end here or is there some hope that Homedock Pro will support the long version of the Hex codes?

I have the pronto codes from the file but they dont seem to be the long format

I havent done a DLO dock yet, I was just trying lend a hand in getting these converted and added to the list, Wee will have to ask GeorgeP as he has done a few now

Yes, we have done both the Deluxe and Pro versions of the dock.

The IR codes are the same, except the Pro supposedly has discrete power commands.

You can learn everything from the DLO remote except for the discrete ON and OFF. DLO needs to provide us these codes. The CCF they have posted does not work in the tools we use to pull codes into RTI or Crestron. (or Elan for that matter)

Until someone here uses Makehex properly and posts working "long form" hex codes, we are using an RTI video sensor on the composite video out port to control its power status reliably.

We have also successfully controlled the Pro with RS-232, including discrete power. So that is another option for now.

Also, Controlworks just released a two-way Crestron module for the Pro.

Sorry... I already tried this... and this will not work! IR Pro nor the Crestron will regognise any of it except Fast Forward and Rewind.

Dock Pro, discrete codes may require additional purchase of Pronto Remote control; programming of remote will be required and may be done by other professionals, not included.

I beleive this will put it much closer in price to the Escient FP-1

Thanks very much we fianlly have a working discreets for the DLO Homedock Pro

I have tested the codes below with an RTI remote and the HD Pro. ALL are working except for the Shuffle ON and Shuffle OFF. (minor issue anyway, the original random toggle works)

Isn't it amazing that DLO takes such a passive role in finding a solution. Sureley they would realize that IR discreets are probably more important due to the fact that not all our customers are willing to spring for the RF base with RS232? DLO never returned my calls. They did respond to email but not with the soloution... Anyway I'll pass on the codes to them anyway in the hopes that they will post them on their site and next person looking will find them easier..
