Okay, so all of these codes worked. I am in meetings all day, so I wont be able to upload this ccf until tonight, but they all worked with the exceptioin of the "random on" code. John you are the man. Thanks a bunch.

As far as how this compares to the delux version, it is pretty much the same. I wish the output resolution these were a bit better...that is my only real gripe with this. When you throw an image on an protector or any other high def display, the resolution is pretty grainy.

i had the same problem using the composite video output, but if you can make use of the s-video output then i think you will find an improvement in video quality.

Any luck posting the ccf yet? Can you e-mail me direct? I have been try to get DLO to do the conversion to ccf for a couple of weeks... no response. They don't seem to understand there isnt enough info in the documentation to do it!

Thanks for the great work all that have contributed.

The .ccf was submitted on Saturday March 24th. I submitted it as a TSU1000 .ccf file. I figure that is the lowest commond denominator so that all .pcf users can easily import regardless of using the Marantz or Philips product.

If it is any higher, wouldn't the Escient dock then be the go to piece? Network ready, downloads info from gracenote, viewable on touchpanels that have ethernet... I don't think much more than $300 would fly, would it???
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

I also need the long form hex, so I can cut and past into RTI Software.
Even the CCF postesd on the DLO Pro wbsite is short form.

DLO Needs to get their act together on this if they are going to support the custom install channel.

We do not have a Pronto remote to actually test this but we frequently use CCF files and open them up to extract the IR hex codes and use them in RTI, Crestron and in the past Elan and Universal Remote products (via the "Universal Browser" feature)

The CCF file we just downloaded from their support site has only TWO commands in it that we can tell: Fast Forward and Rewind. These do not add any value to us as we can easily learn them in from the supplied remote.

What we need are standard hex codes (as some here are calling "long codes")

We need POWER ON and POWER OFF to do what we need wthoiut extra hardware.

The CCF file we downloaded from the files area here does not appear to have any valid commands.

So, until DLO gets standard codes published, we need to use RS-232 which does support discrete power. Or use a video sync sensor on an RTI RP6 Processor and send the learned power toggle command.

Sorry I haven't yet found time to help with this.

These long form codes are fairly easy to generate using MakeHex and the method has been discussed in a few different threads.

I'll try to find time later to give a clearer answer.
