I tried all the codes in this thread, as I said my codes all seem to end with 0707.

If the link does not work this time, do a search in the RTI forum (older than 6 months) for Xpost.

[Link: remotecentral.com]

There are two code sets used by Samsung... NEC2 and NECx2. They are very similar but some sets only respond to one or the other. Jason posted NECx2 codes later in the SAMSUNG thread as did I in the Xpost thread. See if one of the sets works for you.

They do not work, all the codes I have learnt end in 0707 so I guess the discrete will also end in 0707.

0707 has nothing to do with it. That is a result of variation in your particular learn.

The cleanly generated codes will look a bit different.

Here is what I have. If they do not work you are likely SOL.

(NEcx2 codes)

Ok, thank god for that, its finally working. Just wondering though, it didnt work straight away when I just updated the code in the database after the download to the remote, I had to go to the button delete it then put it in again.

???... If you alter the library it will not automatically update your remote or file... the initial code(s) are in the file once you place it on a button until you either drag on a new code or use the IR search and replace feature.

These are the same codes from the same posts I was pointing you to before.

Any ideas on ant 1 and mute. Mute I guess I could work with, but the problem with it, is when you hit mute, the display stays on the screen, until I hit it again. Issue is sometimes my wife wants to listen through the tv speakers. I appreciate your help.

I'm looking for discreet codes for Samsung LN3215 lcd , for ant 1 and try to figure out how to program the mute button also, so I can lower the tv volume and use the surround sound. My wife uses the tv speakers, than I want to turn them off for the surround, except when you hit mute the display stays on the monitor screen.

thanks for your help.

All of the potential Samsung TV codes and findings are contained within this thread.

PHSJason has listed many and I have provided links to my findings as well.

Regarding the mute... your only solution is to just turn down the TV volume but since I have no idea how you have configured your system or what form of control you are using I can not provide further comment.

Regarding Ant.1... often you can just tune in a channel and it will go to the antenna input automatically (set up a default channel macro) but I have no idea if this will work for your model. Most TVs lack a discrete antenna command these days.

As far as in my case, even when I tune in for ant1 it still toggles to air tv 3. If I could block tv3 that it would work, but I can't seem to find a way of doing that.

With the mute what I had come up with was withing the macro just keep on toggling the volume down button until it's to zero. I haven't configured the system at all. But again programming the macro this way takes a bit, I would have to toggle the volume down maybe 12x. It would be great if I could just hit the mute once again that works, but in my tv it leaves the mute off display on the screen.

hope you understand my situation.

Thanks,
