All during this time frame the virus starts to mutate. Wouldn't a virus die quicker if it reached herd immunity faster? Basically the faster it can spread, the quicker it runs out of hosts to infect. Therefore it has less time to mutate. You should be happy there are anti-vaxer's. I still don't understand why anti-vaxer's are making any more dangerous to those "responsible" citizens if they have received their full vaccines. I understand that it does put pressure on the hospitals but that's a different discussion. How is an anti-vaxer more dangerous if a fully vaccinated person can also contract COVID and pass it along? Of the anti-vaxer's, how many of them have already tested positive for COVID? Is natural immunity better than a manufactured immunity? I think this information is being purposefully left out because they don't trust the general public to make an informed decision. I don't blame them, there are a LOT of dumb people in this world. But isn't that why we think America is pretty swell?

Covid is fake news by the Clinton foundation and liberal elites to take away our guns. Anything you hear by people who actually see the dying and permanently compromised is just part of the conspiracy. In fact, anyone who dies from it are just faking it because they too want our guns. ;)

It has provided us conflicting, sometimes full 180 degree opposing info on the origin of Covid, efficacy of masks, efficacy of vaccines, types of immunity, alternative treatments, and more. Im not trying to twist your arm but am giving you some data points that I think should cause the average person to at least ask questions.

Ha, I clicked on this thread thinking I' see a list of all the companies pulling out of CEDIA. Instead I find 6 pages of Covid arguments, none of which are correct or wrong. It's all BS. Do what you want to do. I am vaxed, but refuse to wear a mask. Luckily in Texas, there are very, very few business that try to require masks. I choose not to do business with the few that do.
Anyway, I came here to say that Nortek has also pulled out of CEDIA.

At this point it may well be too late to pull the Expo but it's probably in it's death throes anyway as the industry morphs into ever more commoditization. I was planning one final visit as I'm pretty much done in business with retirement an attractive option at the end of this year. Not worth my time/risk now.
On a seperate issue: Dissapointing to see that this industry also has its societal % of conspiracy theorists and raving nutbags. Take care out there.

The arguing is BS, not the virus. Sorry if the wink at the end of the comment didn't land....Maybe next time I'll try a double wink or explain my joke in a disclaimer at the end of my comment. I've know multiple people who have died from COVID including someone is currently learning to walk again. I'm aware this isn't a made up virus.

pretty horrible to live in so much fear. Yet, the miracle cure they gave the president back in October had nothing to do with either Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine. Ivermectin is a horse and bovine de-wormer. It'll make humans bleed out their asses if taken, so go ahead if you want.
