Why would you google Craigslist rather than just go on Craigslist? Man, you Seattlers want to Google EVERYTHING :-)

At your age I would seize that Puerto Vallarta deal if you can. Why dick around in an overpriced market and squander more money away just to stay put... might as well live it up down there on the cheap.

I think I'll move to Puerto Vallarta. Live off my social security, and my GF can teach down there. Can rent a Killer place for $600 (including all utilities) near the water!

With you being American... don't expect to have a place ON the water. Heck, I'm not even sure how near you can be to water.

At least that's what I heard.

You know, this is the biggest kick in the gut I've ever seen here at remotecentral. Hell, I felt it myself some!

Bruce, I hope things go well for you. Keep in contact.

Hey, you reps out there! You other installing companies! There's a good guy here! Let's hear from some of you!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

The most fun ever is watching someone type "GOOGLE" into the search box of their browser...that is configured to use GOOGLE as it's search engine!

Bruce I hope things work out for you, and I know how you feel. Two years ago on the Sunday after holiday I was let go via email.

I feel for you too, but the good thing is if you decide to stay there doesn't seem to be any shortage of jobs in the area. I am about 5.5 hours south and have considered relocating many times because of all the good job offers.

No I can get a place on the water, but hell at this pint that is not all that important. Just a nice clean place-CHEAP. Have some friends down there. Just hope the internet works OK. My GF in Brasil--- the internet is really spotty, but that is Brasil. Guess I'll brush up on my Spanish.

Damn! That is harsh, huh?

I was pretty shocked when I heard.

You guys with jobs and regular paychecks... be thankful, even if you hate your jobs sometimes! It could be worse.

Unless the default search engine is Bing or something else.

And some people wonder why others start their own businesses. Firing via e-mail, phone or anything other than face to face is bullshyte and shows how gutless some people are. Not talking about closing is right up there, too. Leaving employees hanging is never good, but at this time of year, it's worse. If she can't figure out how to do a lot of business between now and the end of the year, she should have been found a better manager.
