Are both of you guys from Europe? Asking because in my country we don't watch that crap.

Mac, I don't know what country you live in but when you're in Florida or SouthWest, Cubans and Mexicans outnumber the 'natives', so yes, most of the population does watch that crap.

BTW, I'm pissed because I recorded the damn game but before I got a chance to watch, I looked at my phone and Google added a card that posted the score :-(
No, I don't watch it in 1x speed; that's what FF is for until the score changes. Then quick press of the 7sec rewind gets me to the exciting part.
BTW, that was a nice goal they scored.

Look, Im glad they can have fun at work but when there is a 10minute hold before the receptionist even answers the phone...there is something wrong there. BTW, I didnt call at lunch time, it was around 2ish

I guess perception is reality....I've never had an issue with calling in and speaking to a human for more than 15 seconds. Of course tech support is longer but it isn't as bad as RTI or submitting a ticket with Savant and waiting 2-4 hours. Because you pick the one day and the one 2 hour window the office decides to slack off your upset? It's more like you have a sour taste because of a couple of failures and you are looking for more fuel.

The irony is that they are a company who has value products that allows smaller guys to grow their business while maintaining a decent profit. Now that you've moved up the food chain and want to sell more expensive products, then do so. I would love to only have customers who can afford Savant pro series chassis, AudioControl network amps, James landscaping systems, or the best of every category. But we aren't there YET so I will continue to support Snap where appropriate.

And yes we are moving to Planet/MikroTik for all switching and routing ;)

I have been nothing but pleased with their service. Never a hold time. A few damaged pieces due to packaging. Cherry pick the line is my recommendation. Notice to other distributors. Their ordering system and web site is awesome. You could improve your numbers making yours as easy as snapp. Ok Ernie. Check my ghrammer.

Uhm, I have gone to many soccer games in your good old 'Murica with some 100,000 fan attending the games. You should get out of your hotel more. :)

Exaggerate much? Because the average attendance for an MLS game is 18,000.

Does the Marketing Team answer the phone normally? Not sure what they have to do with your whole 10 min wait. They are typically very responsive.

There are companies I dread calling (RTI!!! DREEEEEEWWWWW). Snap is not one of them.

Now the hardware issue that may be legit, but a certain % of product for any company will squeak by the QC process.

Actually, I just realized that nobody has weighed in on the original issue, that a ground cable was not screwed down to the chassis.

I'll bet that it doesn't matter. That ring was to be under the screw that it's near so that the chassis of the thing has a connection to power ground. There's nothing at all about power ground involved in the signal flow of that device. It's a safety feature in case of dangerous voltages accidentally being present inside the device, for instance as the result of a huge surge on the power line. It's sloppy, it's wrong, but it's not a problem as far as I can see.

The unit should have failed a HiPot test, however. Thanks, China.

Well, at the least it's a picture of a ground cable not attached. That's what the caption said.

I can understand his concerns. It was the heat of a moment that cost him time and a frustrated customer. However, This company has really good tech support, customer service and there will be more times they will go to bat for you and your customer than what you have run into this time. We recently found that due to the purchasing amount our company has done with them this year we are being credited back to our account a very large sum of money. I mean unbelievable amount. That would give them a pass for a soccer day.

I am going to ask them to give me the money so I can upgrade the house.
