Today I started a thread that was moved almost immediately by the thought police here.

That said, I'll either cease coming to this site, and it's minions with power mentality, or I be a real PIA by putting up repeated political, arms control, etc, etc, threads until those mdes get control over their issues.

Picked up a desk i bought a few months ago. This is the first desk i have ever bought that requires body filler and paint :).

Steelmaster tanker desk from the 40's or 50's. Supposedly the desk had 1 owner that purchased it and used it as a personal desk until recently. It has a handful of dings and some wear areas where chairs or whatever would hit it. All hardware is in good shape, drawers are all perfect. I'm going to paint it blue and replace the stained white formica top with a dark gray wood grain formica.

Below is an example of what it will look like:

You can't be worse than the group here led by Fins and Stanley at ruining this site.

I'd have to vote for the liberal establishment, and let people say what they want to say, regardless if it's idiotic and selfish, or not.

Let people speak their minds if it's idiotic or not.

So much of my education comes from... neutral websites that I welcome the info from...non-learned individuals.

The liberal media tends to trivialize the opinions of the weak minded. I enjoy reading about the opinions of the fundamentalist individuals here.

Please don't be so 'heavy-handed' here.

Impaqt, lighten up. Some people have thicker skin than others. Draw a line at name-calling. It's an opportunity for you. Teach people how they should discuss issues, with clear rules.

This thread better not get shut down.

Once again Stanley manages to rile everyone up. If he could just get banned this site it would be so much more peaceful.

It's not just Stan doing all of it. Many other just have a need to jump on the bandwagon. Myself included.

The real problem I have with threads getting moved and closed, is that it seems to be done on a whim rather than for any good reason.

Sorry, but I think one moderator is going too far too soon. That person needs to take a short break, or maybe he can send us all packing for a few weeks.

political and Religious threads get moved to off topic if I catch them soon enough. If I'm too late and the personal attacks start flying, I lock them.

Sometimes I miss things. So if theres a thread that you dont understand why I haven't closed or moved it, feel free to pm me and bring it to my attention.

Well, I appreciate your efforts to keep the personal attacks under control. I mean that! And yeah I sound like a bit of a hypocrite... but I want this to be a friendly place again.
