But if you cared enough to file the police report... Wouldn't that mean you care enough to try to find them?

WTF? Where did I say that I don't? You have NO idea what my family and a few close friends and I have been doing.

OK I'll PM you my boss' number, and you can ask her about it, but I will expect a public apology from you here after you contact her. OK MF?

So.....

Yesterday I was moving some of those heavy cement wall blocks, as I'm doing a little fix up landscaping around the house.

Woke up very early this morning with my left arm in pain.

Apparently sprained, or strained, some muscles in my left arm.

Damn hard doing everything with one hand. If you had seen me trying to my socks on, you would have been laughing so hard you would have hurt yourself..

Typed all this with one hand!

I will be opening a bottle of wine, IF I can figure out how...

That is so sad for a man your age! We know all you have been doing for working out is lifting one drink at a time. You should really have exercised some before attempting to lift those cement blocks!

You should have carried two beers in one hand and a glass of wine in the other for a few days to build up strength in those muscles.

Please be careful, we don't want to hear about an old CI who passed away on the beach from a muscle cramp way too early into his retirement.

I for one am trying to envision opening a wine bottle with one hand. Never really gave it much thought before, but it seems nearly impossible with standard openers. Maybe one of those battery powered corkers?

Please report back on this.

I'm guessing you'll have to temporarily migrate to beer until the arm gets better. Life is always throwing us curves

Mission accomplished!

Place bottle of wine between legs, use the standard screw in opener, get it all the way in, manage to get enough leverage to finally pop the work out without the bottle falling over and wasting any wine (a cardinal sin in my book).

Was going to use a wine glass. Was being the key word.

Let day day continue....LOL

Really Fred? Screw top? Might as well get some wine in a box. This IS a first class operation here... :-)

A lot of the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wines come with screw tops, and are quite acceptable......
