a very good client of mine sent me a message yesterday that his Sonos wasn't working and he is having some people over for a Memorial Day BBQ and wanted to listen to music at the pool. After some over the phone troubleshooting and getting nowhere, I told him I'd make him a deal. I'd go tomorrow (today) if I can driven his Audi R8. He said sounds good.

So I went down there today at around 10, and he wasn't there. He was golfing. About half way through fixing everything I got a text from him. It said, "I left the keys in the Audi for yo . I'm a man of my word." Yes he is.

So today I drove his Audi R8 V10.

Marched in the Briarcliff Manor Memorial Day parade representing the Briarcliff Rotary Club. It was a privilege to walk along with fellow Rotarians Mark Seiden and especially Sy Yuter a WWII vet who still fits into his Army uniform!

Don't do it. I'll give you a receipt for your charitable donation. Give it to me and you can write it off on your taxes. ;)

I'm retroing in some speakers and wires for a surround system for my FIL. He just remodeled the basement and thought about it after the ceiling was up. Fortunately there's one access over a duct so I can fish from. I also had to demo in ceiling speakers on the floor before I could cut the holes in. They are $1400 retail, I'm letting him have them for $300. Yes, trust me they will kick the shit out of those 20 year old 301's

But at least I've got good help today

When i was 12 my uncle drove us (from Chicago) to Florida for Universal Studios, Bush Gardens, Disney World in his brand new Grand National. It rained every day that we were there but it was still one of the funnest trips i have ever taken...except on the way home when 2 12 year olds and an 8 year old had to share the back seat with one of these....(the stuffed bear not the kid)
