Finished up a family room 7.2 system for a good client in his new home today. Klipsch RP-160M fronts, RP-450C center, R-3800-W II in walls mounted in the ceiling for surrounds and surround backs, and 2 subs....R115SW and R112SW. Receiver is a HK AVR3700. We mounted the new Sony 75X850C above the fireplace on a tile wall. Not too high. It works well in the room.

This guy likes to CRANK it up. He wanted to use his old Klipsch RF7II towers and matching center, surrounds, and Reference 12" sub. But they just did not work in the room aesthetically, so we set that system up in his bedroom. :)

Both systems kick serious butt. The bedroom system actually sounds better....smaller room, better/bigger speakers, better speaker placement, etc. But the main system with the dual subs gets it on. He is happy.

That is how you start a short week. I took my PONO player to use for demo material. I have not heard it much other than through some mediocre headphones. It sounds really good.

When i was 12 my uncle drove us (from Chicago) to Florida for Universal Studios, Bush Gardens, Disney World in his brand new Grand National. It rained every day that we were there but it was still one of the funnest trips i have ever taken...except on the way home when 2 12 year olds and an 8 year old had to share the back seat with one of these....(the stuffed bear not the kid)

Love the Grand National, doesn't someone here have one? Attempting to find an 87 in good condition stock is a near impossiblity.

The 87 Grand National is one of my favorite cars ever. I like big body coupes from the 80's. I have had a couple of dozen regals/rivieras/custlass supremes/monte carlos. Most were junk that didn't last a year and ended up as parts for the next one. The grand national was the king of big body coupes IMO.

My uncle bought every cool American sport coupe that hit the market between the late 60's and early 2000's when he died. He traded cars every year. Before he got sick he had a few race cars also.

An old geezer dropped off some of his old vintage stereo gear and records today... I scored a mint copy of Herb Alperts "WHipped Cream & Other Delights" record album with the (then) racy cover of a latino looking gal partially covered in whipped cream... wondering what it's worth, as it is kind of collectable!

Finished a fiber optic star ceiling in a theater project today. I think it turned out really well. It's basically the first one I've had my hands in. We'll get somebody in to take some decent pics once the room is finished.

They are not that rare, you can, and I have found mint, still in shrink wrap copies in goodwill bins across the nation for a couple bucks.

Couple listed on fleecebay for about $20.

Herb Alpert is/was also an accomplished sculptor. I walk within 15 feet of one of his bronze pieces at least 8 times a day, on public display. Abstract, looks like an angel of sorts.

Yeah buddy. I remember when I picked up my whip at Maranello, drove through the Tuscan countryside, hit the autobahn, climbed the alps, and made my way to Monaco, I did not think I would ever have as much fun. Did some laps at fiorano too.....back when you could have Schumi drive you around it. Holy balls!

And then I woke up. :P

I do. As it sits here, it has 48,xxx on the odometer. I have it tuned perfectly for the combo running on it - TA49 + PTE intercooler. It runs 11'90s in the quarter all day long and has more in it. The car is 28+ years old and never having the motor opened, it still competes with todays supercars (straight line only)

My next planned mod is E-85 conversion.
