I walked into a house with the presidential seal engraved in the entry floor today. Not something we get to do every day.

I heard security has been really lax recently... this confirms it.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

I was working in a house today where the new owners are just moving in. The wife had a bottle of some type of cleaner, a big rag and a scrub brush and was scrubbing away on the hearth as hard as she could scrub. I commented on how hard she was working and she said there was something all over the hearth she couldn't get off and showed me the rag, which was almost completely rust colored from the scrubbing. I explained the rock on the hearth had some big veins of iron and that was rust she was "cleaning" off the rock. She had been scrubbing for two days. Lol

How hard was it to jump the fence and get in before the dogs got to you?

Did you light it on fire again? If so, you should say sorry.

parts started arriving for a Highdollar system filled with Lexicon DA amps and James SA speakers. To say im excited to see how this job will turn out is an understatement.

I got this job because I was referred to the builder who referred me to the client from a high end flooring contractor that I met on another job they were working independently on. The reason they refereed me...they saw my festools :D

No joke, they told the builder that I must be a decent guy considering my tools. Builder called me and asked if I was interested in meeting his client, he then proceeded to tell me that he has yet to have a bad contractor that uses festools and the referral is mine if I want it lol

Had a better day than my client. He is a roofing and siding contractor. I was fixing some data lines in their call center and heard a csr talking to a customer. It went like this:

"Yes ma'am, a worker did what? Defecated in the woods? Your dogs did what? Ate it and rolled in it? Then they tracked it into your house? They jumped on you?"

Surprisingly the customer wasn't that mad, just wanted to know if the guys crapped anywhere else so she could clean it up before the dogs got to it.
Hey, careful man, there's a beverage here!

So one could argue that this job finally has those fesstools half way paid for

I'm retroing in some speakers and wires for a surround system for my FIL. He just remodeled the basement and thought about it after the ceiling was up. Fortunately there's one access over a duct so I can fish from. I also had to demo in ceiling speakers on the floor before I could cut the holes in. They are $1400 retail, I'm letting him have them for $300. Yes, trust me they will kick the shit out of those 20 year old 301's

But at least I've got good help today
