Is this a bad time to point out that they didn't build a Testarossa in 93? In 93 they made the 512. Also, it's value hasn't doubled since it was originally sold. It's held its value by about 80%

Not to mention the 80"s had NOTHING to give to the auto industry. I love me some Ferrari, but the TR is their ugliest. I know this one is sacrilegious but I love it  and Hell to the Yes!  and eewww  Now that's a Testarossa

Most were "asking" in the 130K range, with one particular, and very desirable, 512TR with an asking price of 109K. Selling for half, or less, is not selling for double in the real world.
