Particle clients, my favorite kind of client. You get paid in saw dust and only have to do part of the job anyway.

iPad spelled out for me and I wasn't carefully to correct it. My bad - "particular"

My rant was the remodeler who stabbed me in the back since I was the one I recommend him to do the work.

Along with what ever else you do, I would have a discussion with the guy that guy the remodeling contract, Let him know in no uncertain terms that you're going to put the word out on his dirtbag business practices to everyone you come in contact with.

A lowlife move like that deserves payback.

I spent 5 hours and 24 minutes on the phone with tech support today. Gist of the story, the system controller is f**ked up and I'll get to reprogram the entire system from scratch because it's being replaced with a new model controller.

Tech support was great to hang in that long and try everything possible to get my client working for the weekend.

Elan?

Moved a small business' phones and network systems to their new store.

Get to the new location and their Network Pre-wire consisted of store bought pre-terminated stranded cat5 cables run point to point and hanging out of the walls.

Yup shove what you don't need back in the wall.

Too short, get a inline connector and another cable.

And a couple weeks ago I dealt with a swing out rack...mounted inside a cabinet.

I spent 4 1/2 hours on the road to go to my in-laws to pick up parts for a bed for my oldest daughter who wanted to get rid of her twin sized loft bed.

Did I mention that I went because my wife didn't get all the parts when she was there yesterday?

I just listed drive time. There were 3 other stops and digging through my in-laws attic.

But yeah, it still beat Friday

This is the worst. I just don't get it. Beyond it being a scumbag practice, does he not get that he just lost a source of referrals?

Seems like being a d-bag really ups your chances of being an idiot as well.
