I like that install. See if you can fix the blinds in the middle window on that last picture. Even if you copy them from one of the other windows in Photoshop or the like.

Speaking of signatures, how about a hint on your name code. I have invested too much time in this already. I cant help my determination to figure it out.

I have invested too much time in this already. I cant help my determination to figure it out. Oh very well, here's a clue to help you. I can't have you spending your life trying to figure it out. It will help if you open notepad or word and type out the alphabet a couple of times in a row and re-do it again underneath so you can align letters above and below. What you need to determine is how are they aligned to start and what sequence the alignment changes between letters. For the record I will not admit who I am unless the method of decoding is explained. In other words you can't just guess.

Shadowed my lead tech today. It was good to break out the old tool bag. Pretty productive day. Started this morning at a home built in the 40's with fire blocks everywhere. We retro fit a whole whole network system, wireless router, new homerun cable line. Multi port switch, google tv, pc, 2 laptops, wireless printer, 6 drops of network cable. Total Time was 2 hours.
Then we drove for the easiest hang and bang job. 20 minutes tops.
Next we did a discovery phase on new job untilunch. Afte lunch swapped out a new avr, reprogram remote, set up apps on phones for control.
Next went to local restraunt to install network receiver, 2 speakers and built a custom rack ahead for receiver to sit on.
Really proud of what I get to do everyday.

Been a while since I posted. Love to see everyone's photos. Always impressed by SBSmarthomes! Here is a project we finished late last year. Just moved to a new office space and am in process of a demo area build out. Man, buildouts are expensive. Nice project. Basic audio distribution, central rack in mechanical closet, computer network, cable distribution, etc. Big family room with TV has invisible speakers (sound is only ok-note: last job with invisibles, ever!). TV is 65 inch Samsung plasma with custom frame (we provided passive ingress with Mid Atlantic fan egress in the niche). A couple of other TVs with URC remotes. Golf simulator room is cool (sorry, no photos). Customers love the simplicity. Only one service call to date (change cable box settings to on with power and numeric).

While I'm here, I might as well add these photos. Great project finished last year. Includes 14 zones of Sonos, Triad in ceiling subs in kitchen and lanai, Sonance 70 volt landscape series with sub, Pakedge wi fi and lighting control. Photos show Lutron RA2 lighting (approximately 150 zones of lighting). Our first big RA2 job: Great stuff - easy to install and program, good price, iDevice app, great results. RA controls all lights, front entry waterfall, bug screens via closure interface, LEDs throughout, etc. Customers love the lighting. It really enhances the look and mood of the house. We are promoting RA2 to every project.

A great ceiling, with well-designed lighting, is the difference between a very good room and a magnificent room.

Hey Mike, great looking projects and very nice photography. Thanks for sharing. What invisible speaker did you use in the first house?

In the first house, we installed Stealth 2 ways (FX8?) with backboxes. Like I said, sound is only OK. If I had to do over, I would have forced the issue of bookshelf speakers hidden in the bookshelves (my original design idea).
Actually, in the modern house, we installed 4 Triad invisibles (DS500?) and they sound great. Not as easy to install as the Stealths, but they sound a lot better.
In any event, my experience with all invisibles (going back to B.E.S.T. in the 80s) is only so-so. I am on a mission this year to try to deliver better sound and simpler systems if I can.
