I've never seen a product training by Pakedge, very cool!

Well, it was more to show what they have to get new dealers. But we were shown what the GUI looks like for each item and a little how to set them up.

We were also told they are working on "how to" videos on their website for specific questions they get on setup and such.

All in all, it was informative.

I worked my ass off to get all items for a job that my client talked to me about around 7PM yesterday(feb 9th). He needs everything installed monday (feb 13).

The install site is 3 hours away from my office.

From 9AM to 10AM I made sure all items were in stock with 4 different suppliers and made sure they could get some items shipped for saturday delivery.

I then sent the quote out to my client and told him that if he wanted me to be able to get all items in our office in time, he needed to approve the quote within the next hour.

At 12PM, I got an email from my client stating that he approves my quote and that I may now purchase the items.

Almost all items are at my office as i'm writting these lines. Some are still in transit from Toronto to my office.

I'm waiting for PXE-DCM+ from SP controls and 2 Chief PAC-101-B.

I did a pick up of 2 x Sharp LC70LE732U + Polycom HDX6000 with ceiling mic array and 2 Peerless wall mounts.

All this was done in less than 24H... (being informed of client project, quote, quote approval, pick up of items in stock in my region.)

This was a stressfull day to make sure I was able to make it happen.

Install is monday! I'm ready!

Many of you will not appreciate the significance of this but today:

I corrected Ernie Gilman's grammar.

I'll bet you're still thinking about what you may have missed or forgotten. Something in those small little details perhaps?

I do, I totally get it. Even received a PM from Ernie once because of an errant apostrophe in my signature. Can you link to the correction?

Speaking of signatures, how about a hint on your name code.

I know who Sheldon Cooper is but his signature contains a code for his other RC persona. I'm just looking for a hint on how to crack the code.

Today I woke up in a ramada in Philadelphia at 4:30, got on a 7:55 flight, landed in Jamaica at 11:00, was swimming in the carribean by 1:00 drinking a red stripe. Mini vacation, be home by Wednesday, but it's nice to be here when it was snowing on my car this morning. Too bad I'm so tired, easy night to night, jet skis tomorrow.
Hey, careful man, there's a beverage here!

Congrats man, enjoy it! The wife and I just booked flights and condo form Hawaii (kona i think?) in early June. It will be the real vacation we've taken together in almost 10 years.

ha, is that the one next to Boeing and there is a huge airport parking lot next to it? "Park & Jet" That place is a shithole, and that was after they "re-did it"

Thats awesome man, congrats enjoy every minute of it. Im sure the hotel in the Caribbean made you forget your night in Philadelphia :)

Yup! I'm going to have a loaded truck with way to much stuff that I might not use.

If I need it, it will be there.

I've added a few things in the truck last night...that I did not think of friday...
