Snap, Thats nice. I like the HT-66s a lot. What did you use for Rears and a sub? This was a fix/upgrade deal. So the home was done 5 or so years ago with speaker craft. The client was getting rid of the huge CRT TV for the Elite 60. The furniture was purchased to hold the TV, that covered up the in-wall speakers that were there. So we replaced the front 3 speakers with the Tru's, and left the other 4 speakers in the room speaker craft in-walls. For the Sub we used the Vel 12" DEQ series, in the back 180 out of phase. Some of the stuff was pretty simple, but there was still a lot of retro that needed to be done to make the additions/upgrades happen. I was a little worried at first how it would sound in a 7.1 system. But over all the EQ on the SC05 helped out a lot, and we were able to get a really good sound out of the system.

Simon, if my work looked like that, I'd install my racks backwards so all the cool cable management were what you saw!

Spent the afternoon cataloging what equipment was missing after a clients home was broken into this past weekend.. No he did not arm the security system.. Theifs took 42 inch Panasonic plasma which looked like they pried it off the wall with a crowbar, took 50 Panasonic Plasma with Artison speakers but dropped / trashed it in the back yard when they tried to get it over the iron fence and must have lost control, and a Crestron AADS, docking station and ST-COM of which they will have no use for.

I love the audio loops from the Pad-8A to the AAE. looks very nice and clean. Also, amazing work. Your wire management skills are amazing and I completely agree with Mr. Stanley!

Simon,
Nice work mate. Super tidy with clean lines.... Like it. Thanks One question though:
Have you ever had any drama's with the cables creaking or breaking on the Ultra-Lift droppers? Yes once a couple of years ago, the problem turned out to be with the little pulley thing that the cable runs over. They have modified their design since then and no problems since. Simon.

Simon, as my kid would say, "That's So Filthy"!!! nice stuff I like the fabric treatments. Thanks. I assume you are talking about the cables going to the rack. That stuff is cable sock and we buy it by the roll. It expands and contracts to suit the loom size. Simon.

Simon, What are you doing watching NASCAR? I thought all your demo pixs were of cartoons? I never deliberately put on cartoons to take pics but must admit it often seems to be the case. Probably because a lot of the pics are taken when the client has been using the system, kids programs i guess. The Nascar wasn't deliberate either, it's just what was on at the time. Simon.

Dammit Simon.. Your pics start off making me happy because there always so freaking cool then i look at my own pics and realize im not worthy.. Lol, thanks. Only 2 things are required to get pics that look like these. 1. An attitude of do it right and it will take however long it takes. 2. A client base that is almost solely the top 1% of wealth. I know damn fine that those screens in the joinery benefit from the expensive joinery surrounding them. It only takes reasonably minor skill to get a screen centered in a cavity and to use a level. The rack cabling however does take some practice but i always try to find ways to improve how i do them. The ones i was doing a few years ago were dreadful. Nothing cut to length or properly managed, they looked like a bowl of spaghetti had been thrown at the back of them and stuck. That's the problem with starting as the senior guy, no one to teach you the right way to do things you haven't done before. Every thing i do now comes from years of trying to find better ways of doing things and learning from mistakes. Simon.

Also, amazing work. Your wire management skills are amazing and I completely agree with Mr. Stanley! Blimey, thanks. The interconnects are Kords Cable and compression fittings made to size on site. Thanks again. Simon.

Simon. No, I'm still getting my vision thing cleared up from the beating... I thought those areas around the TV were like Snap-Tex... sorry upon closer observation they are wood panels! As usual top notch work.

Beautiful work. Thanks, now get away from that rack and go do something fun. It will give you much more pleasure than looking at a bunch of neat wires.
