For those of you who might be using the old Weather.com data feed with URL starting with:
h t t p://xml.weather.com/weather/local/...
Change the URL to start with:
h t t p://wsdata.weather.com/wxdata/weather/local/...
Note that I have added spaces between the protocol in the URLs above to prevent RC from trying to serve them up as links.
The old URL sends an HTTP 401 Permanent Redirect to the new URL.
Also note that the new URL does NOT provide the preprocessor instruction. If your code expects to receive this and is not robust to operate if not present (as was my XML Weather module), you will also need to change this as even though this is an XML document, there is no leading preprocessor instruction.
If you make these changes it is very likely that everything will work as before.

And for anyone that has licensed my weather module, please feel free to contact me for an update 'Scripts' page updated to handle the new URL.

I tried the file you just posted. Not working for me. You have this in the parameter instructions
"This can be found by going to weather.com and entering your zip code. The page it takes to will have your city ID in it's path in the form of an 8 alphanumeric string I.E. "USMO0204"
This alphanumeric string no longer works it seems. I don't see it in the url path any longer. However I re-enter what it use to be in the older weather module I was using that stop working. Your module didn't work either.
Am I missing something here?

Got Marks file to run,
1. comment out FillEnv(); on home properties 2. comment out CF widget radar on Weather properties.

Paul - do you mind if I merely update Mark's upload with your file?

ok guys I don't know whats going on with this file.
I thought n2Hifi's file uploaded on nov16 has been fixed and uploaded again by Daniel Tonks.
Did this occur?
I have been coming home from work for the last 3 days and downloading the same file and it doesn't work.
I have been using the weather.com version 2.0 module for years until recently like everyone it stop pulling data.
So where is this file that works. Can someone clear this up or is it me.
I am running PEPv2.4.18 with firmware v7.3.3 on two 9600's.
Any help is so appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'm also glad to report success! The only thing I had to change was the metric/american style because putting m or s in the parameters doesn't work. I added "&unit=m" to the code. Now I can see the temperature in Celsius, only the wind speed comes still in m/h instead of km/h and the pressure also don't come in metric units. Does anyone knows how to solve this ? Thank to ALL !

I just tried unit=m in the URL in a web browser and I see that the service provides metric unit descriptions in the text. I am wondering if the code is explicitly setting english instead of metric unit descriptions.
I have not looked at the code to see how labels are build nor do I have a desire to do so at this time. The above is just my anaysis of what I am seeing in the response from the service.
