I'd like a copy of the icons/backgrounds for the MX-810.
Thanks in advance, lots of great info in this thread!

I've added the files to the first post. Just right click and download.

If anyone has any {reasonable} graphics requests, let me know and I'll see if I can throw together something for you.

A nice full screen netflix logo would be nice, for use with the Roku box which only uses the arrow keys...

Hi everyone,

I just got my first MX-810 and love it! Thanks to this thread, I've been able to build some custom graphics for my setup, and I figured I'd post them here to help others.

I only just learned how to do things like layers and transparency in my image editor (Paint .NET - an awesome free tool!), so they're probably not as slick as they could be. They look good enough for me though, so I figured I'd post them here for others to use if they so wish!

Here's my activities page:

Here are the icons in the correct 88x59 .png format, just right-click to download them and save them to your own system:

Here's my Sonos activity page icons:

EDIT Nov 2010 to add more:

I just got a Pioneer VSX-1120 which has iPod Control, so I added the following:

I also got a Panasonic Plasma that has Skype video call functionality, so my activity icon is this:

And my activity page looks like this:

Enjoy 'em! If I build others, I'll be sure to post them here as a way to say thanks for this excellent forum :)

Here are my new Blu-Ray icons. It took forever to figure out how to get the Blu-Ray logo as a subtle background across all 6 images, but I finally got it. It looks nice on the remote.

Here's my Comcast On-Demand layout:

Here's my TiVo activity layout:

Edit: Adding my new layout for the WD TV Live HD media player:

Also made these ones for my new Wii and WD TV Activity icons:

While I wait for my bricked MX-810 to get replaced, I figured I'd post some of the channel icons I recently made. Adding these to the ones already in ProWizard gives me almost a full set of favorite icons for all of Comcast's HD channels in the Boston metro area.

And now I realize that the TBS one was already in their database, and that someone else had posted an AMC one in the thread earlier. Doh!

If you're referring to my icons above, just right click on the ones you want and choose "Save Picture As..." or "Save Image As..." and save it to your own machine.

Is it possible to show a "Loading" page during the execution of the macro on this remote? I know you can do that in the other models with page jumps, anything similar here?

Thanks!

MX-810 automatically jumps to a "macro in progress" page during macros. To edit that page, all you have to do is edit the appropriate image. (It's located in the folder structure of ProWizard in your Program Files folder (usually on your C drive).

Best regards,

Dale

OK very nice, thank you.

This prevents using a series of page jumps to produce an animation then, correct? Or will it accept an animated .gif image?

Hello all,

I am planning to get an mx-810 real soon, and in the meantime have been working on some custom icons. The way these turned out has pretty much convinced me to get this remote. These ones are for the PS3 (using the ir4ps3 adapter) and the Tivo.

This is how I am using them (right click -> save as to use them):
For the Tivo:

An alternative tivo guy:

For the PS3 (blu-ray remote basically):

or an alternative PS logo:

PS3 game buttons:

All of these are in this photoshop file (CS3 or better):

just mess with the layer visibility and you can make any of these.

Hope these are of use to someone!
