Sunwave SRC-3810 Features:

LCD screen: The large backlit touchscreen never needs calibrating and has 21 touch sensitive squares. Each device can have up to 2 pages of controls, for 42 LCD-based soft buttons. The LCD can be configured to shut off after 1 through 90 minutes of inactivity.

Hard Buttons: The SRC-3810 comes with 20 hard buttons: 8 are used to select devices, 6 are used to operate the remote, and a further 6 can hold user commands.

Complete backlighting: The entire LCD and all hard buttons below it are backlit with bright blue LEDs. Backlight can be configured to shut off after 1 through 60 seconds of inactivity, or disabled completely.

Light sensor: Enables the backlight automatically, according to the current ambient light level, and is customizable to one of 15 sensitivity levels, or the sensor can be disabled.

Operates 16 devices: 8 component banks can store up to 16 total devices in any arrangement. Default device types include TV, DVD, Cable, Satellite, VCR, Amp, Tuner, CD and Aux. Devices can be custom labelled with an 8-character name.

Full code learning: Infrared codes ranging in frequency from 10kHz to 125kHz, plus 455kHz, can be learned onto any user button. 16 devices with 49 commands assigned to each are possible – for a total of 784 learned functions!

Preprogrammed database: A built-in searchable code database contains preset codes for cable boxes, CD players, DVD players, receivers, satellite receivers, televisions, tuners and VCRs.

Macros on any button: Macros may be placed on any user button and can contain up to 60 steps each. Delays ranging from 1 to 10 seconds can be inserted between any command.

Channel macros: Three categories of short 4-step favorite channel macros can be added to any device. A total of 50 of these macros can be created. When one of the channel categories is selected, the current device’s [Channel Up] and [Channel Down] keys change to rotating through these macros.

Customizable labels: Each LCD square on the iconic touchscreen can be customized with one of several possible labels, with 3 to 7 available on each square, plus a blank outline square. A total of 104 different labels are possible, or buttons can be completely removed from view.

Optional PC connection: The optional SLC-2080 USB cable can be used to hook the SRC-3810 remote to a PC for use with the free RemoteComm software package. With this software, remote configurations can be saved to disk, devices inserted from disk, screens arranged, macros recorded and preprogrammed codes chosen.

Clock and calendar: The current time is always displayed at the top of the remote. On demand, the complete date can also be shown.

Non-volatile memory: Power is not required to store programming data.

Beep function: All keys can be configured to beep when pressed.
