i am in nashville, tn. i saw a add in the paper saying "disrtibuting audio equipment $800-$1200 a week". i called and was interviewed by the notorious john mahaffery with the cross eyes. it sounded too good to be true. so i went home and got on the net. i googled the kirsch company and of course saw all this and realized it was a scam. thank god for the net. i would not have known without the computer. so you can add nashville as one of the many places these guys are ripping people off. i was about to start working for them tomorrow morning but little smarter than that. i had a bad feeling during the interview. now i know why.

We need a no vans sign (I'm thinking white van with a
circle and a slash through it) djy, could you get one
for this thread?

The best I could do I'm afraid . . .

Well djy, if that's the best you can do, I guess it'll have to do. :)
At least it's a white vehicle, and it has a slash through it. Very good.

Read my lips! No white van purchases numbskulls!

I don't know if i've posted this already, but....
you guys will like this.

I'm in Indiana, and i'm an audio/video enthusiast. My wife knows this, and my birthday was last month. The Theater-Tech-ScamMobile showed up near a local bank, and the 2 guys did their routine on the wife. She came home and me and my buddy were drinking beer and shootin pool. She was really excited to tell me about the deal she just got from these two guys in a silver F-250 pickup (not the usual white van). When she showed me the box, sure enough it was the Theater Logic L6. She paid $500. Me and my bud jumped in the truck and went looking for a silver F-250 with Texas plates. Amazingly, after a half hour or so, we found them near another bank parking lot.

We followed them to a mall on the north side of Indy, and we decided to become "customers." My buddy Mike went to the ATM, and I just sat outside the truck and smoked. Sure enough, the two dudes came by and tried to sell me the speakers. They had a Fed-Ex packing slip and everything. I said I was interested, but I wanted to exchange the money and merchandise behind the building. I waited on Mike to get back to the truck, and they should've known that something was up since we're both really big guys...and they follow us around back. Well, needless to say, they both were pulled out of the truck, it was quick, maybe 5 minutes, and we were out of there with exactly $500 (i'm not a thief), and there were two pretty unhappy little scamsters on the pavement.

So, if you see a silver F-250 around Indy, and one of the guys inside has a pretty messed up grill, and probably a busted jaw, don't buy speakers from them.

He either has a great memory, or he wrote that down. 4 months is a long time to remember something word for word. I can understand why he wasn't sure if he posted it previously. Searching through all his posts must be difficult. I'm starting to doubt the authenticity of this post though... Would a real tough guy that beat up a guy 4 months ago, go on and on about it, or would he be on to bigger and better things? I think this is another unhappy customer writing a story to make himself feel better.

i really hope swingbringpain is telling the truth. marky mark896 has a good point though. could have been scammed and just wants to feel a little better about it. but for all the other people that got scammed i do really hope swingbringspain got his $500 back and really left them with a messed up grill and a broken jaw. he said he and his buddy were pretty big guys. i want to know if swingbringspain REALLY did get revenge. so what is the deal swingbringspain? did you really beat them up and get your money back? or are you b.s.ing? also did you return the speakers?

How dumb can all of you possibly be. i personally know people who do this for a living and obviously they aren't the dumb ones here. its perfectly legal. i hear you all bitch about the prices. your the dumbass's buyin out of the back of a van. they are selling them for lower than what the suggested retail price is so that means that 99% of you are retarded and its not a scam and when you go to the police they are going to laugh at you cuz of your stupidity. if it was really illegal after 3 years of this being posted on the internet and all the different threads with this on it, this company would be shut down and everyone involved would be in jail. i mean if your dumb enough to even think about buying speakers out of a white van in a parking lot you need some help. period.

Ask your friends how much they sell these speakers for. After that ask them how much they are really worth. How dumb would you have to be to think that a company selling speakers for less than cost for years would still be open, and making profit? I assume they make some kind of profit or how could they afford to pay your friends? But according to you they are selling them for less than what they paid for them??? How does that work? Guess I'm in that 99 percentile.

It is a scam my friend. The scam is convincing people that what they are selling is worth more than what they are asking.
