Called Pat as Ken T. said, at Computability (800)-741-9199 ext 2202. Told him what you said, $105 plus $9.95 OverNight shipping. 114.95 In my hands tomorrow !!! I am only posting to continue the praise as the future is now! Fewer MIDDLE MEN with NO VALUE ADDED !!! Not long before SONY and everyone else starts to sell direct for the best price possible (unless they do not want to go through the direct customer trouble) Either way a reminder to ALL --- Information that is shared is the ONLY way to go!

THANKS ALL !!!

Just ordered the AV2000 from Pat at Computability for $105.00 plus $4.99 UPS shipping. It's in stock. Nice person and excellent price. These folks are in Milwaukee and have a different attitude from most NY mailorder houses. Looking forward to seeing how this works with my new Sony 9000 surround preamp. The Sony's remote is ATROCIOUS!!!!

Hey do I have to call them to get the remote at that price.....can i email instead. What would i have to write in order to convince them to sell me the remote for 109.95 or at least 114.95 with shipping??. I live in Florida so how much would the entire purchase be. I really want this remote for my birthday but my parents are sort of tight on money and want the best deal possible for a while( ex. i buy it and they drop 30 dollars off the price in a couple of weeks) I just can't wait any longer!!! I haven't even held the remote in my hands, but i already love it!!, a couple of questions though... can it control light dimmers and can it control a Toshiba 3107 dvd player??

Just ordered the remote from Compubility. I guess it was peer pressure....NOT gotta have, gotta have it. The price was still $109.00 but it cost me an additional $19.95 to ship to Hawai'i. Its still cheaper than the $180.00 price that I got from Sony, Hawaii. Thanks for the advice.

Well... I probably shouldn't have done it, but it was too sweet of a deal not to jump at it. Yes, I too got my RM-AV2000 through Computability this morning for a grand total of $119.90 ($109.95 + next day shipping). I can't wait. It almost looks like a palm top. hehhehhe.

PRICE FINATIC

I am a serious price shopper and the best deal I found on this remote is $109.95 (not $105) at Computability. 800-554-9951 With $5 ground or $9.95 Fed Ex. Everybody at Computability is so friendly and non NY sounding. :)
Note:This remote is normally $129.99 unless you mention this ad.

Just ordered mine from JandR. The price was $115 + $4.50 for shipping. They started out by asking $129.00 but they quickly came down. Just ask! I'm happy with that price as retail is at least $170.00

I just ordered mine from JandR.. I told them computability had it for $105, he put me on hold to ask his manager, came back, and gave me it for $105 + $5.00shipping... I am happy.

P.S. This was at 2:00a.m. JandR is open 24 hours a day.

Jeff, Thanks for the tip. I just ordered one from JandR (www.jandr.com) and they honored the $105 price + $5.25 standard shipping. Same deal, had to confer with manager, but came back with the go on the price. My buddy has one and it's a great little gadget. It's 10:10pm, gotta love the open 24 hours deal that JandR has also...

Just ordered it from J&R also, my salesperson said that Computability no longer had it on sale for $105 but he would honor that price for me. I will be doing more business with them for sure!

Rick out.

I just ordered one from J & R on Wednesday night and got it for $105. They quoted me $129.95 at first. I told them I must have been mistaken but I heard the price was $105. After assuring me it was $129 I was ready to hang up. He stopped me and said "If I can get it down to $105 would you buy it?" Of course I said I would. He put me on hold to go talk to his manager and came back and said he would do it.

Well, I got stupid at this point and paid $25 shipping to get it overnight so I could have it by Friday (it was too late to ship on Wed). So I was back up to the original price.

But....I have my remote now and WOW! I was surprised by the size, it is large! But after I programmed it for all of my components and created some macros I am VERY impressed. I didn't know a remote could be so cool!
