Just got the RM-AV2000 for Christmas. My sister said she got it from J&R for $105. The remote isn't perfect, but it's awesome for the price!

My wife got this from Compuatability for $109. I love it.. By using the learning feature, I removed all my remotes (Cable box, Toshiba TV, Panasonic VCR, Toshiba DVD, Denon DD/5.1 receiver, and Pioneer CD player. I had to teach the Sony most of the features. For example, my DVD player has two trays. The original remote has a button called disc select. The Sony does not. So, I programmed the key "execute" to select the "disc". One thing for sure, you can't run out of buttons on this puppy. I also programmed the numbers 1,2,3,4 for the Reciver sound-field settings.

It takes a little learning, and a couple of hours to program. But it's a great remote for the price.

I just got off the phone with DC at J&R. He says they never officially offered the AV2000 for $105, but if you mention remotecentral.com he'll know what you're talking about. They are still honoring the price and are selling quite a few of them. You'll probably be on hold with DC for several minutes but he's very nice and worth the wait. Call J&R at 800-221-8180 and talk to DC at ext.1025. I paid $115.20 with 2-day FedEx. Price may vary depending on your location. The AV2000 is NOT AVAILABLE for ordering online at J&R, so just go ahead and call, don't waste your time surfing their site. They have a 30-day return policy, but I forgot to ask if it's 100% refund or if there's a restocking fee.
