Like everyone else here, I just bought the Sony RM-AV2000 for 109.95 from Computability. I just told the salesperson that I saw it for $109.95 and he immediately replied "That will be fine." Thanks Daniel for this amazing site.

First, let me say thanks to everyone who posts in this group for helping me make my decision and finding the best price :-) I just ordered my AV 2000 from Computability, I asked for Jenifer and she was pleasant and very informative about my purchase. According to her, I'll have my AV 2000 in the morning, and I'll post back w/ the questions I know I'll have. Again, thanks.

I too have just placed an order at Computability for the AV2000 for $109.95. Initially, the sales rep reported that the sale was long over, but when I mentioned this message board she quickly honored the price. The regular price is $129.95. I don't know how much longer they will continue to match prices but letting them know that Deb just purchased it on June 3 helped.

RM-AV2000 still $109.95 at Computability. I didn't have to ask for any specific person at any special extension or even this message board. The first person to pick up the phone offered it to me for $109.95.

I have to say thanks to all on this board that pointed me towards Computability! I was just about ready to plunk down $179.99 (only one store in my area had it, and I couldn't find anything else online) until I found this message board. They sold it to me for $109.95 ($6 UPS s/h) no questions asked!

I live in the northeast Florida area and almost went to Sound Advice to pay 179.95 for the AV2000.

Called Computability and spoke to Tara at X2289. Got the remote for $109.95 with $9.95 FedEx Overnight.

I got mine from Sound Advice for $94.95 + 0 shipping and handling because I got it from the store. AND I didnt have to wait overnight. You gotta WORK the salesmen guys! =P

Just tell them where you saw the price and they'll give you the $109.95 price! Talk about your no-haggle pricing policies!!

Can someone give the phone number and/or web site to Sound Advice, the store that sells the AV2000 remote?

I called Computability and simply said "I heard that you were selling the Sony RM-AV2000 for $105 from remotecentral.com." The guy who answered said "Really?" and I said "Yes." He then said OK and sold it to me for $105. Sweet.

Called today 6-25, mentioned remote central and they said, " I suppose that you would like the remote for 109.95." I said no, I would like the remote for 75.00. Kidding of Course, but, I got it. Thanks all!

I just talked to Dan at Computability(800-741-7768 x2223) and he also honored the price of $109.95 and gave me $9.75 overnight fed ex. He was very courtious and professional and was a pleasure to deal with. This is his direct number if you need one.
