I have had the Atlas 1055 which controls my Motorola DVR and Panasonic TV (TH-42PZ77U) for a while. I also have an Insignia stereo receiver model NS-R2000 (I bought it for $12, that's why I have one of these) and an original XBOX (not the 360) which I use as a windows media center extender device.

The OK/Select button on the remote was locked to the Cable button regardless of what mode the remote was in, but I managed to free that up this morning. I cannot get the OK/Select button to send the correct signal to the TV when the remote is in TV mode. I have the same problem when I am trying to send the OK signal to the XBOX (I use DVD mode on the remote for this - I think I programmed it to use code 0522 which is Microsoft). Can anyone help?

Bonus-this one might be a tough one, the receiver has a separate button for On and Standby. On works fine and I wanted to set the OK/Select button to issue the standby signal when the remote is in AUDIO mode. Super brownie points if you can help out with this one.

Tell us the setup codes that your are using for the TV, the Xbox (not "I think", but find "for sure" the code you are using) and the Receiver. I think we'll be able to get you going.

Use the 990 command to blink back your setup codes: www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php

Thanks for the response. Here are the setup codes:
AUD 1077 (Insignia NS-R2000)
TV 0650 (Panasonic TH42PZ77U)
DVD 0522 (Original XBOX)

Use the 994 EFC keymove commands in the above link to assign the following 5 digit EFCs to OK/Select (or almost any other button)

TV 0650 OK 24885
DVD 0522 OK 00109

and, let's hope,

AUD 1077 Off 00248

It looks like the Insignia is similar to a number of Sherwood receivers. 00248 comes from a Sherwood RX-4105. Data from hifi-remote.com

All three of those worked. You rock and my life is complete! Thanks very much. One more I noticed that didn't work, but it is not a big deal if it doesn't, but the XBOX media center remote has a power button on it which does not turn the unit off, but disconnects it from the media center server. Any idea what that 5 digit code would be?

Also, how do you figure out the codes for the buttons?

Don't know about the Xbox.

The OK/Select button problem is that the Atlas is a cable remote, and it uses Channel Lock. So in TV mode (and sometimes other modes), CH+/-, digits, and OK are all routed to the cable box. If you aren't using a cable box, you could just defeat Channel Lock. But if you have a cable box, you want Ch+/- to go to it even in TV mode. So instead we keymoved the standard EFCs for 0650 and 0522 onto the OK buttons. Keymoves take priority over Channel Lock. I got the EFCs from the Lookup Tool www.getzweb.net/jp1/.

I also used the Lookup Tool to find out that Audio 1077 is NEC2 protocol device 131.69, and that one of the brands is Sherwood.  I searched the forums at hifi-remote.com for 131.69, and some Sherwood comments showed up.  Downloaded Sherwood upgrade files from the File Section there, noted that the protocol was correct and that many of the EFCs matched 1077. One of the upgrades listed the discretes.  I used RemoteMaster (see the Software forum) to read the upgrade files.
