Does anyone know where to find the codes for this receiver or does the codes that I see posted for other Pioneer receivers conceivably work? I want to hopefully, when I turn the receiver to digital station through dishnetwork, automatically set the volume, set the listening mode, etc. I hope that this can be done with discretes or am I missing something and this is much easier than I am making it? Please advise.

I've got on/off in the files, but nothing else. I'd be interested in those codes as well. The VSX-36TX Rocks!!

In the files section for the Pronto there is several descrete codes for the Pioneer receiver. You need neohacker and a JRE program (path below). Open neohacker and your ncf. copy the Pronto code into your ncf (ctrl + v) under "actions" for that button. Save the file and open it in NeoEdit and download to your remote. Hope this helps. Neohacker is in files section for the neo.

I have NeoHacker up and running so that will not be a problem. I will give the pronto discrete codes a shot. I have been searching the net for two days trying to find a list of the codes for the Pioneer receiver and also the Pioneer DVD player I have. Are they trade secrets or what? Do I need to attend a Pioneer equipment repairer course or do I have to blow somebody to get the darn codes?... hehe... the latter sure as hell isn't gonna happen. Will get my butt up and do it manually before that ever happened unless they threw in a killer McKintosh setup and gave me my own satellite... J/K .... thanks for the tip...
