Pheonix, you haven't been around very long so you probably don't know me. Let me say I usually don't make things so personal, anybody that's seen my posts in the past hopefully knows that. For that I apologize. This topic has come up fairly often lately and for some reason it just struck a nerve today, and unfortunately you ended up being the target. It was a bad drive in to work this morning, no accidents just terrible drivers you know. Or it could be the fact I just found out on Wed. I'm going to be a father for the first time and it has me a little freaked out (I don't know why, I've only been married for 7 1/2 years). By the way you guys are the first I've told:)

I think I'll stop reading RC for today since I'm in such a fine mood, and start over on Monday.

Pheonix, I hope you stick around and keep contributing; and I hope you can understand where I'm coming from too.

Dr Phoenix,

I would be VERY interested in your view of drugs being imported from Canada. There are tons of websites doing it. So it must be legal. Right? No - it's not. Many Dr.s have had their licenses pulled for writing the scripts. The websites still exist.

But how can the drugs be so cheap from the internet when my local pharmacy is so expensive? My pharmacist says the web sells below his cost.

Things that make me go Hmmmm.

This is a perfect analogy. Am I wrong?

Diesel, I'm happy for you and your family.

Just like Glack, I couldn't imagine life without my bride and our four kids.

Congrats Diesel !

It IS a drastic change but they have a way of growing on you ;-)

One word of caution....

If it's a girl, LOOK OUT when they turn 14!!!!!!

You're "sweet little angel" can turn into an overly emotional, hormonally imbalanced 'handful'.

I don't get it. Why sell URC? Period. Doesn't URC notice when all these dealers drop them? Do they care? Apparently not. Have programmed a few URC's but not anymore thanks to RF and this site andt the e-bay thing. I guess that if I were a Remote manufacturer that relied on the CI business to test and program my products and spread the good word, why would I not care that they were all abandoning me or find out why and do something about it. I have read hundreds of responses about the e-bay thing, so I'm sure they know about it. I don't get it. Anyone else?

I aplaud Pheonix for seeing at least a little bit of our plight. Now we can all get together and have a group hug.
Maybe one day soon URC will get a handle on the ebay thing and we can all live happily ever after. Now that Pheonix is our bud again I am worried how this will affect his ability to pay off his student loans and hire one of us to do a balls to the walls system for him one day:

I have to ask.......why do any of you still sell these remotes? It kinda sounds like fighting a losing battle. Why not wage an anti-URC campaign. This is only my 2nd post, but I've looked around here a bit and it seems URC doesn't really care. Which leaves me wondering.......why support them, if they don't support you?
